Malabar is a low density residential suburb with extensive coastline but very little consistency or homogeneity in architectural style, form and scale. The building form had been largely guided by the shape and orientation of the block. All functions and amenities were grouped around a circular spine, spiraling at the top to create visual climax. Balconies, bay windows, large span of windows, bi-fold doors and a third level terrace had been designed to capture water view and prevailing breeze.
